We began 2015 with a sense of auspiciousness. Nadaswaram is one of the most auspicious instruments in South India. It is featured extensively at temples and at weddings. We presented Kasim Subhan and Babu Subhan, the grandsons of the legendary Sheik Chinna Moulana.

Our second event was a feature concert by the very experienced senior artist, Gayathri Venkataraghavan. She was accompanied on the violin by Charumathi Raghuraman and on the mrdangam by B. Ganapathyraman. This was her second CMC tour of Australia and New Zealand - her maiden tour was in 2009.

Our third event was on Saturday, 27 June 2015. It featured three teams of our talented emerging artists in a music festival.
